Bright Building begins new era for health care and medical research
Scientific discoveries will be translated to clinical care more rapidly with the collaboration of partners under one roof at the newly-opened Bright Building.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian and Health Minister Brad Hazzard opened the $114 million building on the Randwick Hospitals Campus on Tuesday.
Volunteer efforts for oncology in Vietnam awarded
The spirit of collaboration and friendship keeps Professor David Goldstein returning every year to Hue, central Vietnam, where he volunteers his time and knowledge to a local oncology project.
The Prince of Wales Clinical School conjoint professor has been project director to the Health Volunteers Overseas (HVO) oncology project in Hue since 2012.

POWCS HDR student Emily He was awarded the inaugural White-Walker Cancer Research (Oxford) Scholarship, working in Oxford in 2016/17. Whilst at Oxford, Emily attended the World Cancer Congress in Paris.
