Qiao is an entrepreneurial life science business development professional. He is part of the Knowledge Exchange team and works closely with the UNSW Torch team at UNSW Sydney. Qiao is dedicated to building long-lasting high value cooperation with external partners, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies and sophisticated equity investors. Currently, he manages a multi-million-dollar portfolio of UNSW biomedical technology comprising treatments for oncology, cellular therapy, infectious and metabolic diseases as well as in vitro diagnostic and implantable medical devices. Qiao completed his PhD (Medicine) at UNSW and was awarded BSc (Biotech) with first class honours from the University of Adelaide.
