Introduction to Statistics for Researchers

POWCS HDR candidates and conjoint staff are invited to register for one of the proposed workshops on statistics. Both options cover the same content. A limit of 15 participants has been set for each workshop option.

OPTION A

Feb 7 – 8 (Thursday and Friday)

Two full day workshops, 10 am to 4 pm

 

OPTION B

Feb 12-13 & 19-20 (Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

Four half-day workshops, 1 pm to 4 pm

A series of nine weekly lectures on Statistics topics will also begin in late February 2019. These will be open to students and staff working in the hospital precinct at Randwick. More information will be posted in early 2019. 

 

Dr Nancy Briggs is also available for one-on-one consultations with HDR candidates. On Thursdays she is available to POWCS candidates, and is located on level 1, south wing, Edmund Blacket Building (Medical Professorial Unit) on the Prince of Wales Hospital campus.
