Welcome to the beginning of your clinical learning experiences. During phase 1 you’ll attend the hospital every alternate week to develop skills in communicating and examining patients. You'll have the chance to practice these skills before interacting with real patients in the clinical environment. Your visits to the wards will give you insight into the nature of medical practice in a major hospital. You will also be able to relate the knowledge that you are acquiring in biomedical sciences (including anatomy, biochemistry and physiology) and in social and behavioural sciences to clinical problems.
The Prince of Wales Clinical Teaching Unit for undergraduate students is located in the North Wing of the Edmund Blacket Building. The student common room and tutorials are located on Level 1. Map
